Fuslie is too addicted to GTA RP, her life “disintegrated” out of the box

100 Thieves star Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu is concerned that her GTA RP “addiction” could get out of hand when a Twitch streamer recently told fans that her real-life life she is outside of the virtual Los Santos that is rapidly “disbanding”.

“I think I’m getting too involved in GTA,” admitted Fuslie during his latest Twitch broadcast. After a busy month of spending dozens of hours on immersive experiences as one of the platform’s top GTA Online characters, Fuslie is concerned that the job is consuming her entire life.

Often venturing through the NoPixel server as her famous April Fools character, Fuslie has soar popular to start 2022. Although this increase doesn’t happen without some heavy downsides, the streamer revealed.

“My life is falling apart,” she said. “I’m really overinvested. It’s a terrible addiction, I should reevaluate my life.”

Forcing herself to be away from the RP community for a short time, Fuslie outlines the extent of the damage that self-admitted addiction has taken. Outside of her own streaming hours, she almost always watches “GTA clips until [she] can’t anymore. Until I had to sleep,” she explained.

“I wake up and then I watch GTA clips,” the Twitch star added. “I’m so obsessed that I’m like this, it’s not healthy. This cannot be healthy.”

Fuslie’s commitment to role-playing in GTA Online has influenced her real life outside of the game.

Even after being invited on a four-day trip in the real world, Fuslie nearly canceled the plan just to spend more time on the GTA RP server. “I’ll miss four days of GTA, what happens?” she emphasized.

Just thinking about “saying goodbye” to the in-game assistant for a few days brought her to tears. “This is not a normal reaction,” she added. “I’m too deep.”

At that point, Fuslie realized she needed to get out of her “bad” RP timing. Not just for her mental health but also for her longevity in the scene.

“I absolutely love this game and I want to make sure I continue to love it.”

There’s no doubt that Fuslie will be returning to NoPixel in just a few days, but it’s clear that popular streamers will try to spend less time on roleplaying in the future. Fuslie is too addicted to GTA RP, her life “disintegrated” out of the box
