Fur-hooded suspect wanted in NYC straphanger attack

The attacker, who police believe slashed a 66-year-old straphanger in Midtown in an unprovoked attack this week, can be seen in a long, fur-hooded winter coat in new surveillance footage.
The victim was riding a southbound No. 6 train arriving at the 33rd Street station around 3:20 a.m. Thursday when the suspect slashed his head and ear, cops said.
The attacker, believed to be in his 40s, stood and appeared to stretch just before stabbing the victim, police officers said.

The attacker then got off the train, police said.
The victim got off at the next stop and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Police released the surveillance footage Friday morning as they continued to search for the attacker.
He also wears a dark sweatshirt and pants and a black mask.
