Fort Campbell soldier dies and another is injured in vehicle crash becoming base’s second training accident death in 2021
A CAR crash at Fort Campbell in Kentucky left one soldier injured and another killed, becoming the base’s second training accident fatality in 2021.
The 101st Airborne Division’s Office of Public Affairs confirmed the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

Military officials said the deceased soldier’s name would be released pending notification to next of kin.
The accident is being investigated by the 101st Air Defense Division.
