OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A former professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center is facing more than 100 charges after allegedly placing hidden cameras inside a teenager’s bedroom.

Last year, Edmond Police Department officials were called in to investigate after the victim’s mother found a hidden camera in her 14-year-old daughter’s room.

Investigators arrested Allan Wiechmann after serving a search warrant at his home.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Wiechmann admitted to placing the camera in the victim’s bedroom.

He told authorities that when they discovered his internet searches, they might find them “odd or disturbing”.

“He went on to explain that he sought out pornography based on his fantasies. I asked him what? [that] was enticed and he stated that he enjoyed watching women’s voyeuristic scenarios in the dressing room or bedroom,” the affidavit states.

Wiechmann was initially arrested on 20 counts of indecent or lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.

The University of Oklahoma released the following statement after Wiechmann’s arrest in March:

“In response to recent information, Mr. Wiechmann was immediately placed on administrative leave pending further investigation. OU is cooperating with law enforcement officials and can confirm that in his role at OU’s Center for Health Sciences, Mr. Wiechmann did not come into contact with minors or patients as part of his job at the university. Due to the confidential nature of the personnel matter, this is the extent of the university’s comment at this time.”

Now, online court records show Wiechmann is facing more than 100 charges.

According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Wiechmann was charged with 20 counts of attempting to commit indecent or lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16, 37 counts of indecent or lewd conduct with a child. , and 72 counts of producing child pornography.

He was also charged with two counts of using an electronic device secretly in a separate case.

His next court date is set for January 13.
