Former England star Kenny Sansom walks his daughter down the aisle as he recovers from his alcohol addiction

FORMER UK star Kenny Sansom has taken another step in recovering from alcoholism – by taking her daughter for a walk down the aisle.

Former Arsenal player, 63 years oldsuffered from gambling, drinking and ran out of money after retiring from football.

Defender won 86 England caps and League trophy in his career.

He was hospitalized for several months after hacked in 2020 and diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder.

Kenny, who has been sober for almost two years, posts wedding photos with his daughter Natalie on social media.

He wrote: “I just wanted to say how proud I was to lead my daughter Natalie down the aisle.

“I was very happy and emotional.”

Last year, Natalie posted: “So proud of my dad, he’s doing great.”

The star’s fans praise him for the progress he has made.
