Former CDL director Jackie Felling takes over as LCS Commissioner

Riot Games has appointed Jackie Felling as the new Commissioner of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and Head of North American LoL eSports.

Felling was previously the Call of Duty League Product Manager after her stints as product lead for the Overwatch League and global head of esports for Gears of War. She will join the LCS when Interim Commissioner Chris Greeley moves in as Riot’s Head of eSports for NA and OCE.

“It will be easy to be intimidated by the challenge of leading the LCS product with its more than decade-long history, passionate fans, engaged owners, and high expectations for North America,” she said. “But instead, I feel really excited about listening, learning and taking the time to understand what this ecosystem needs and wants.”

Throughout the 2022 LCS, Felling will be using the Spring Phase to familiarize herself with the LoL scene and will fully immerse herself in her new role during the Summer Split.
