Former agent says Johnny Depp tried to shut down London Fields’ version over Amber Heard’s nude scenes

According to Johnny Depp’s former agent, the actor tried to shut down a 2018 version of the film London Fields, Including nude scenes from Amber Heard.

Tracey Jacobs made the allegation Thursday, May 19, during her testimony in the ongoing defamation lawsuit her ex-husband brought against Heard.

Jacobs first described her working relationship with Depp — whom she represented for 30 years — saying he became a difficult client in the last few years they worked together, claiming he “would show up late for projects.”

She also added that Depp had “underlying anger issues” that escalated over time.

She then opened up about a specific incident in which Depp sent her an angry chain of emails about Heard’s nude scenes london fields, with screenshots of the exchange shown in court.

“It says in Amber’s contract there will be no nudity and her damn agents are weak and distasteful,” Depp wrote. “Would you please call these moms and you and Jake will do it right away?”

He followed up with another email which read: “It has to be shut down or I’m going to sue them eighteen ways starting freaking Sunday. These people are nobodies in this business and they should be made to understand that we will ruin them immediately.”

Early in the trial, Heard claimed that Depp physically assaulted her over a sex scene in the same film.

Depp is suing Heard for $50m (£38.2m). He alleges that Heard implied he abused her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about domestic violence.

Heard is filing a $100million (£80.9million) counterclaim accusing Depp of organizing a “defamation campaign” against her and calling his lawsuit a continuation of “abuse and harassment”.
