Forecast: Two more cold fronts heading for Southwest Florida

We have a cool and quiet start to your Wednesday morning with most areas nearing 60 degrees.

Overall, expect a nice and comfortable day with peaks in the mid-to-over 70s in the afternoon.

Occasionally we will see partial sunshine along with some clouds.

Winds will come from the northeast between 5-15 mph, but there won’t be as strong of a wind as yesterday.

The weather story for our region this week focuses on two cold fronts facing us. The first front will move tonight early Thursday morning, and the second (stronger) front will arrive on Sunday.

Between the two fronts, Friday and Saturday, the weather forecast is calm, sunny and comfortable with highs in the mid-70s and nighttime lows a bit on the chilly side in the 50s.

The chance of rain will be quite separate from the front tonight, and the best chance of rain this week will be Sunday with the appearance of a stronger cold front.

Colder weather is forecast to start next week with temperatures nearing 40 for the first time since last April! Forecast: Two more cold fronts heading for Southwest Florida
