That means designer hunters haven’t been able to find top coaches and sports brands this morning, during the biggest shopping day of the year.

The company took to social media to confirm the news.

It read: “Happy Black Friday everyone! Our website is currently down, we are working hard to get our site up and running, please wait!”

Shoppers took to Twitter to complain that the site was down.

One said: “Footasylum broken site lol. “

Another asked: “Hey guys, so your site is down because of Black Friday… when will it be back up?”

The problems seem to have started around 8:30 a.m., when fans asked on social media: “Website down?”

Another asked: “Is your site down or frozen? It’s really difficult to add to the cart or even access the site.”

Around 10am, the website was back up and running.

However, it is a disappointment for consumers who get up early to start Black Friday buy.

Earlier this week voucher code Offer 10% off site already available.

A newsletter sent out by the retailer this morning advertised the Nike Womens Air Max 2090 sneakers for £69.99, down from £129.99.

Other deals mentioned include the Adidas Originals NMD R1 sneakers for £69.99 instead of the usual £109.99 and a discounted pair of Adidas Womens Hyperglam leggings currently at £24.99.

The Sun has reached out to Footasylum for comment.

The company is owned by JD Sports, another company that loves street sports.

Its website is still live, so anyone looking to buy sportswear or workout gear this morning can check it out there.

JD Sports is one of the retailers launching some Early Black Friday Deals This year.

It’s up to 50% off Nike clothing, including £35 off Nike React trainers.
