Florida teenager earns $4 million in scholarship money and gets invited to attend 27 universities

PANAMA CITY, FL – A Florida teenager applied to and was accepted into 27 colleges and universities.

“It’s so crazy to think that I applied to all these colleges and got accepted,” said Jonathan Walker.

Walker is as well rounded as they come. Not only is he extremely smart and dedicated to his studies, he is also an integral part of the school’s soccer team.

In his spare time he invented a device that helps blind and/or deaf people.

“I’ve always loved building devices that help people, so I definitely want to push that further.”

Walker’s 27 schools include Ivy League institutions like Yale and Harvard, and then other major schools like the University of Pennsylvania.

All in all, his scholarship offers total more than $4 million.

Walker said all of his success can be attributed directly to his family.

“I really look up to them because they showed me what it’s like to be passionate about something,” Walker said.
