The behavior of Jean (played by Gillian Wright) continues to be the cause of much concern for her daughter Stacey (Lacey Turner).

The cleaning lady first blocks Walford by buying a bouncy castle for all the children, and the owner of Stacey’s Baps is mortified to discover her mother at the castle.

Things get even worse when Jean accidentally injures Arthur (Hunter Bell).

Jean is embarrassed and is joined by Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), who is berated by Stacey for not understanding Jean’s condition.

Hurt by this, Jean later confronts Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) about being more than able to care for the children.

However, she is proven wrong when she manages to sneak to the tube station with her grandson Arthur.

Jean drops a bombshell on the little boy by telling him that his biological father, Kush, was actually murdered by serial killer Gray Atkins.

5. Janine leaves Walford

Since returning to the county in September 2021, Janine (Charlie Brooks) has caused plenty of trouble.

However, she has also shown an interest in Mick (Danny Dyer), the landlord of The Vic.

As she comforted him after he learned the truth about Tina Carter’s death, their bond grew stronger.

But Janine is not quite satisfied and tells him that they should distance themselves from each other.

She takes a drastic step… off the pitch.

Mick is more confused and feels like an idiot when Janine refuses the flowers he bought her to thank her for her support.

Janine is open about her decision, insisting she needs some time off from Mick as she wants their relationship to be real and not based on pain or despair.
