1. Mercedes struggles with coping
Recent scenes aired on Channel 4 have shown that Bobby Costello is ready to receive reparation for his crimes.
The boy admitted to killing Verity Hutchinson, but she is just one of his many victims.
His mother, Mercedes McQueen (played by Jennifer Metcalfe), was shocked beyond words when her son faced massive legal troubles.
Bobby could face several decades behind bars for his murderous acts.

This week, both Mercedes and Diane O’Connor (Alex Fletcher) find common ground when it comes to protecting their children – but how will they go about it?
Later, Mercedes becomes overwhelmed and falls back into old habits by drowning her sorrows.
But that will have implications for her budding romance with Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood).
When she lunges at him, Felix makes it clear to her that he doesn’t want to take advantage of her intoxication.
Mercedes ends up insulting him, leaving Felix injured.
Can he help her stay on track?
Will Mercedes be able to support Bobby?

2. Maxine is planning a march
Meanwhile, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) is determined to get a message across after being the target of misogynistic attacks in recent months.
She is teaming up with Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best) this week as the latter also got spiked during a night out.
The pair are promoting their safety march this week as Jack and Darren sign up to show their support.
Diane even decides to support her actions by offering Maxine The Dog as the venue for her rally meeting the next day.
However, Diane and her husband Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) later discover that they are double booked at The Dog after forgetting the local vicar’s reservation for a private religious party.
But Diane refuses to cancel Maxine and is willing to bend over backwards to make it work.
Unfortunately, Tony is increasingly annoyed that the women’s rally group is too loud.
Maxine is therefore determined to clear the air with Tony before the march takes place, but he refuses to attend the event.
To top it off, he doesn’t want a recovering Diane on the march either, though she’s tired of being coddled and is heading out on her own.
Luckily for Maxine, Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) throws her a lifeline and offers the Love Boat as a new venue.
The march is about to begin, but no one shows up on time.
Just as Maxine is about to give up, a crowd with placards appears…but everyone is stopped in their movement when PC Sam Chen-Williams tells them they’ve received a noise alert.
Maxine is devastated when it’s clear Tony filed the complaint.

3. DeMarcus is afraid of the future
Elsewhere in Chester, DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) was ready for a new romance with Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence).
However, as she contemplated returning home to live with her mother, the couple began to ponder the distance that would separate them.
This week, both teenagers overhear Felix open up about believing their long-distance relationship won’t work.
Later, at school, the students start talking about what they have planned for their future, and DeMarcus looks down, discouraged.
He then tells Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) he’s worried about Vicky moving on – and comes up with an idea.
The boy tells Vicky he would be willing to move with her to Margate, but she isn’t sure.
Is it the end for the young couple?

4. Villagers are missing
Vicky and DeMarcus have to wait before finding out, while Charlie decides to organize a camping trip in the woods.
The couple Charlie, along with Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer), Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip) and Leah Barnes (Elá-May Melek Demircan), set off and start to get alcohol.
They even lie to their parents about where they are going.
However, Darren sees through Charlie when he pretends to be ill, but the teenager manages to convince his father to let him go camping.
Once they’re all set up, two older boys stumble across the campsite, asking to join the party and offering weed in exchange for alcohol.
Leah convinces the group to let her stay – but is that wise?
Nancy later finds out the truth and wants to take Charlie home, but Darren convinces her to let him have fun and distracts her with some alone time.
But Scott Drinkwell, Ste Hay and Felix all realize something is wrong and fear their children have all disappeared.

5. Vicky’s life is in danger
Things only get worse at the campsite as the party spirals out of control and Vicky collapses.
The teenagers try to wake an unconscious Vicky and Darren realizes something is wrong as he looks at his missed calls.
Vicky is taken to the hospital in critical condition – all hell breaks loose.
The parents try to figure out what happened, and Ste is heartbroken over Leah when she admits to taking weed from strangers.
He yells at her in a fit of anger as emotions continue to run high around her.
Darren and Nancy are at a loss as to what to do with their son, and the former is accused of letting him go camping in the first place.
Elsewhere, Zara and Cindy interrogate Lin and Ella while both girls try to convince them they left when they realized the older boys had drugs.

But what really happened to Vicky?
