Fans go crazy over ‘disgusting’ Costco sweatshirt: ‘I need that’

Costco’s biggest fans seem to be trying to get their hands on one particular piece of clothing: a fleece crew-neck sweatshirt with the Costco logo.
Released just in time for fall, the item appears to be selling out quickly as most sizes are no longer available online.
Available for only $12.97, the gray cotton and polyester sweatshirt features the recognizable red and blue Costco logo.
According to Costco’s website, this is a relaxed fit crew neck sweater that comes in sizes ranging from Men’s X-Small/Women’s Small to Men’s X-Large/Women’s XX-Large.
Fans of the wholesaler have already started expressing interest in the sweatshirt by dedicating a Reddit thread to the new fleece.
A Reddit user shared a picture of the crew-neck with the caption, “I bought that hideous Costco sweatshirt and I’m in love.”
Other buyers quickly followed suit, expressing their admiration for the coveted item.
“OMG I need this in my life,” commented one woman on the Reddit thread.

“Costco/Kirkland sweatshirts will be the ready-to-wear Coach handbags,” one user wrote.
“On the one hand LoL is hysterical and on the other hand… Why do I want it?” commented another Reddit user.
“I have this one too, I like wearing it with my Kirkland slides,” wrote another user.

“I haven’t been able to wear mine very often because of the summer, but I can’t wait to be the most stylish dad around,” joked one man.
Many even refer to the item as the perfect gift for a white elephant or something that would win you an ugly Christmas sweater contest.
Costco has several other sweatshirts, including a black cotton/recycled polyester crew-neck with a black Kirkland logo.

According to another Reddit thread, Reddit users refer to the sweatshirt as “wholesale core haute couture.”
With over 300 online reviews and an average of 4.8 stars, the sweatshirt seems to be a hit among Costco fans.
