Grappler appeared on the NXT arena in 2013 as a heavy cruiser and teamed up with the much larger Big Cass, now known as CaZXL, who is the muscle of the two.

The pair stood out at the burgeoning brand and were called up to the main line-up in 2016, where they made their mark on their mic skills before splitting up a year later to pursue a single career.

nZo managed to pull himself off well despite his diminutive physique as he became the Cruiserweight Champion by beating the British AEW superstar Pac, formerly known as Neville, and became the face of 205 Live.

However, the outspoken and outspoken 35-year-old ran into trouble behind the scenes in his final days with the company.
