He told the club’s website: “I’ve had a number of offers, but none of them match the caliber of this club, with European football and the chance to play ahead of 50,000 fans every week.

“I’ve had some great conversations with the manager and Ross Wilson, and I’m really looking forward to working with both of them and meeting the supporters.”
