Epic Games has teamed up again for another Fortnite collaboration, and this time it’s the Coachella Music Festival. Here’s everything you need to know about the crossover, including how to get the Fortnite x Coachella cosmetic.
Epic Games hasn’t shied away from bringing exciting crossovers to Fortnite over the past few years as we’ve seen all sorts of collaborations on the battle royale island.
The developers have worked hard with the most anticipated box office movies, the world’s most popular music artists and fan favorite game series to bring fans amazing cosmetics.
Now they have announced that they have teamed up with the world famous Coachella Music Festival to offer players exclusive cosmetics. Here’s how you can claim the Fortnite x Coachella crossover.
What to expect from the Fortnite x Coachella collaboration
When the two-week music festival begins on April 15, Fortnite players can turn on the Icon Radio in a vehicle to hear over 30 artists featured at Coachella through May 16.
Both weekends will also see two drops of Coachella-themed cosmetics in the in-game item shop with the first set Release April 14th during the daily shop reset at 5pm PT / 8pm ET / 1am BST. Similarly, two more outfits will be released in the item shop during the second weekend of the Music Festival April 21 at the same time.
Skins & cosmetics for Fortnite x Coachella Wilder
Arguably the most exciting part of the crossover is that all of the outfits feature an alternate style that responds to the music.
To complete Wilder’s outfit, players can obtain the Neon Biter Pickaxe, Finfin Back Bling (included with purchase of the Wilder skin), and Finfin Flair Wrap, all available individually or together in the Rocking at Coachella Bundle.
Fortnite x Coachella Lyric Skins & Cosmetics
Similar to the Wilder outfit, the Lyric skins share the same awesome Cosmic Equalizer reactive alt style and are included in the same Rocking at Coachella bundle or can be purchased individually.
Players can “Go Cis” with the Cactus Swaguaro Back Bling (included with Lyrics Skin), according to Epic, and buy the cool Festival Shredder Electric Pickaxe, which is also reactive. All of this, including the outfit, is also available in the Rocking at Coachella Bundle.
Skins & Cosmetics for Fortnite x Coachella Alto
For the second release of skins, players can get their hands on Alto’s outfit, and it will surely remind players of a relaxed summer atmosphere.
With its flashy happy colors, the reactive Sonic Vibes Back Bling (included with the skin) and the tropical Softest Electropalm Pickaxe can be purchased.
Fortnite x Coachella Poet skins and cosmetics
Along with Alto’s set, the second weekend will also see the release of the Poet outfit, which includes the Cosmonautic Helmet Back Bling (included with the skin) along with the Cactical Crusher Pickaxe and Mainstage Wrap.
Players can purchase both Alto’s and Poet’s outfits in the Dancing at Coachella Bundle. Additionally, the pack includes the Enter the Coachellaverse loading screen.
