EUROSTAR will increase services between the UK and Paris ahead of the February half-term break.
Half of the semester is approaching and some families may be planning to go abroad to have fun while school is out.
There will be one more trip during the week and two additional trips on Friday and Sunday, for a total of 24 trips a week.
So from Monday, there will be three trains daily on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, five on Fridays and four on Sundays.
Eurostar said: “We welcome the safe reduction of travel restrictions that will allow our customers to travel more freely between the UK and France.
“We look forward to welcoming more passengers on board and will continue to increase the frequency of our services in the coming weeks to give passengers more flexibility and choice.”
This will be good news for families planning to go Disneyland Paris half term, as well as for those who want to soak up some of the culture in the French city.
France lifted a UK travel ban last week and there has been an uptick in Britons booking trips to the country.
However, since the ban was lifted, many Covid restrictions were introduced in France.
Masks are now mandatory in some outdoor settings in Paris due to a new rule passed by the police.
Masks must now be worn at all gatherings, marches or organized activities of more than 10 people held in a public space, as well as at the entrance to shopping malls.
They are also required in open-air markets, in any queues in public outdoor areas and in public transport waiting areas.
Vaccinated Britons can visit the country, but still need to test negative within 24 hours of arriving in France – be it a lateral flow test or a PCR test.
Unvaccinated Britons will need a compelling reason to enter this country and must Isolation In 10 days.
If you are looking for a cheap trip to Disneyland Paris, Wowcher is offering hotels and flights for as little as £89.
We have rounded 34 countries Britons can visit without Covid test.
