Eric Dier sends a message to Tottenham team-mates

Eric Dier has told Lucas Moura on his Instagram: “It’s a shame I had to train against you” after the Tottenham Hotspur winger returned to training.
The 30-year-old had been sidelined since the World Cup break and recently returned, scoring for Tottenham Under-21s in their 2-1 win over rivals Arsenal.
It’s fair to say that upon his return with the older boys, Moura smiled at everything, including a big hug from Dier.
Things could have turned out very differently for the versatile striker, with Moura’s early exit rumored to come during the January transfer window given his contract expires in the summer.
While Matt Doherty suffered that fate that shocked his teammates, Moura stayed where he was but he is expected to be heading for the exit door in the summer.
However, when the Brazilian star expressed his delight at returning to his IG, Dier posted the following message in the comments section: “Nice to see you back bro. Too bad I had to train against you. added with a laughing emoji.
MOURA A POPULAR PERSON
Having joined PSG from PSG (BBC Sport) for £23million in 2018, Moura has become quite a popular figure with his team-mates and north London fans.
If this is his last few months in a Tottenham shirt then it will be a sad ending for the player but the right one as players like Dejan Kulusevski have pushed ahead of him.
Of course, that hat-trick against Ajax in the Champions League semifinals is a moment that will long be remembered by him and his fans.
But the player just doesn’t have that consistency and assertiveness in the last third, despite the fact that he has that ridiculous ability to run with the ball.
