Elton John Postpones Dallas shows up after testing positive for COVID – NBC10 Philadelphia

Elton John’s two concerts at the American Aviation Center in Dallas have been postponed after the singer tested positive for COVID-19.
The singer has been fully vaccinated and is in good health and is experiencing only mild symptoms, according to a statement.
Performances have been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, January 25 and January 26. The concert is scheduled to be rescheduled to a later date.
The following message was shared with fans.
“It is with great regret that the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Dallas scheduled for Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26 had to be postponed due to Elton’s recent positive test result. with COVID-19. Fortunately, Elton is fully vaccinated and raised, and is experiencing only mild symptoms.Fans should keep their tickets as they will be honored on scheduled dates that will be announced. to be announced soon. Elton and the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour look forward to returning to the stage shortly.”
After Dallas, John is expected to play in Little Rock and Oklahoma City. Those dates are still on schedule for now, and a statement on his Instagram Stories said he hopes to do those gigs.
North America Farewell Golden Brick Road Tourwhich is rescheduled for 2020, begins January 19 in New Orleans and is scheduled to stop in Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, and Miami.
John previously said he’s postponed his European dates on his world tour until 2023 so he can have surgery on his injured hip.
The show will take audiences on a journey through Elton John’s 50-year career with never-before-seen photos and videos set to the tunes of some of Elton’s most beloved songs.
