The richest man in the world, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, was not afraid to express his belief that his opponent Jeff Bezos‘The wealth and aerospace company is second to him because he works harder.

Musk, who is named Time Magazine Person of the Year 2021, throw some shade in Blue origin founder Bezos in an interview with Financial Times, that also named him Person of the Year.

The Tesla CEO has dared to say that Amazon founder Bezos is ‘actually a little too serious about himself’.

“In some ways, I’m trying to advise him to spend more time at Blue Origin so they make more progress,” Musk said in the report published Wednesday. ‘As a friend of mine said, he should spend more time in Blue Origin and less time in the hot tub.’

Musk, 50, praised Bezos, 57, saying he has a ‘pretty good technical aptitude’.

But he doesn’t seem willing to devote his mental energy to working out the details of the technique, Musk added. ‘Devil’s details.’

In contrast to Bezos, Musk said he works every day and 80 to 90 hours a week overseeing SpaceX and Tesla projects.

Musk spoke as SpaceX has the edge over Blue Origin in the race for space billionaires. In September, SpaceX launched its first all-civilized space mission. And last month, Blue Origin lost a lawsuit with Nasa regarding a $2.9 billion contract awarded to SpaceX for a lunar lander.

This isn’t the first time Musk has spewed rivalries against Bezos. In September, when he surpassed Bezos to become the richest person, Musk told Forbes that he would send him a silver medal.

“I’m sending a giant figurine with the digit ‘2’ to Jeffrey B, along with a silver medal,” Musk wrote.

Musk is worth about $252 billion while Bezos is worth $195 billion, according to Forbes.
