Elon Musk fires back at Biden over climate change tweet

Twitter CEO Elon Musk clapped back at President Biden on Thursday after a tweet boasted about the progress he’s made in his fight against climate change.
“In my first year in office, we’ve protected more land and water than any other president since John F. Kennedy.” Biden tweeted. “We have also made the largest investment to date in the fight against climate change. Today we are building on that momentum by protecting more natural wonders.”
The post got the typical replies, with users asking about student loan reductions, comparing the President’s statements to the reality of Bigfoot riding the Loch Ness Monster, and some people praising the President for his accomplishments.
In recent weeks, eyes have been on a potential banking crisis, the Fed’s rate hike and the rollercoaster ride in stock markets.
As concerns over bank stability continue to mount, Biden’s approval rating reportedly fell this month to nearly an all-time low of just 38%.

Last month, its valuation was at 45% and the drop came amid the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank in recent weeks, adding to fears of a recession.
Responding to Biden’s boastful post about fighting climate change, Musk threw in his two cents.
“@POTUS um… the banks are melting,” the supreme commander responded from Twitter.

Billionaire Musk bought Twitter last year, is CEO of Tesla and founder of SpaceX.
Earlier this week, he tweeted about UBS’s purchase of Credit Suisse, noting that the buyer will receive a $100 billion line of credit as part of the deal.
