Elon Musk credits The Simpsons with predicting his Twitter takeover

The Simpsons have done the impossible again.
Elon Musk is highlighting a 2015 episode of the Fox animated sitcom that appears to hint at his Twitter takeover.
“Simpson Predicts I’ll Buy Twitter S26E12,” Musk, 51, tweeted Saturday.
The episode, titled “The Musk Who Fell to Earth,” begins with Lisa Simpson tending to a bird house with a sign that reads “Home Tweet Home.” She is feeding young birds when a bald eagle snaps and kills her.
As the eagle flies off into the distance, Musk arrives in his rocket ship. The plane’s fire burns the eagle – a long-standing emblem of the United States
“Get ready, family. We’re about to meet a being whose intelligence far exceeds ours,” says Homer Simpson before instructing Bart to grab his baseball bat.

Musk takes off his space helmet and introduces himself: “Hi, I’m Elon Musk.”
Homer throws the bat at him in the head. Lisa screams, “Dad, no! Elon Musk is possibly the greatest living inventor.”
The camera pans to a new, technologically advanced bird house that has attracted several birds.
“I guess people want their change aviary by aviary,” says Lisa as Musk reboards his ship.
The Simpsons have long been known for predicting future real-world scenarios.
Fans of “The Simpsons” are also convinced that the show predicted the sad 0-0 draw between England and America in the 2022 World Cup, which took place on Friday.
In the 1997 episode “The Cartridge Family,” the family watches a television commercial for a match that will determine “which nation is the greatest in the world,” but just seconds into the action, Homer hears “boring! ” scream.
A number of other predictions that eventually came true include Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid and Germany’s 2014 World Cup win.
