Elderly California woman beaten unconscious in LA – then robbed while lying on street

An elderly woman was brutally beaten and left unconscious on a Los Angeles street – where she was then robbed by a heartless bystander, disgusting videos show.
surveillance recordings, captured by an MTA bus and released by the LAPDIt shows the 86-year-old woman completely unconscious on a sidewalk in Adams-Normandy while people stand idly by.
Then a man in a New York Yankees hat and jacket gets off the bus and steps over the woman.
Instead of helping her, the cold-blooded commuter rummaged through her purse, as the video shows.
Witnesses standing nearby and a sling swivel still on the bus are seen cautiously trying to stop the man, but he brushes them off and makes off with her wallet.

A suspect was later arrested in the August 8 beating and charged with assault, but the thief remains on the wind.
The woman, who was “seriously injured,” was taken to a local hospital by emergency services in critical condition, police said.

When the woman came to, she told police she had no memory of ever being assaulted or robbed.
Police described the thief as a man between 40 and 50 with a mustache or goatee.
