EastEnders Ricky Champ’s pregnant wife Sammy rushed to hospital as she posted a picture from her bed

Ricky Champ’s pregnant wife Sammy was hospitalized yesterday after falling ill.

The influencer, who is expecting her second child in July, shared a picture from her bed at the ward as she reassured fans her baby is fine.

She told her followers: “Not where I planned to spend today. Everything is fine with Bub, only high blood pressure for me.

“The midwives at Southend Hospital are fantastic. We are so lucky to have the NHS.”

Ricky, who plays Stuart Highway on the soap, announced they were expecting their second child earlier this year.

The ultrasound image was taken alongside a bouquet of flowers and a wooden sign that read, “Baby Champ. Due July 2022”.

The star, 41, and Sammy already have a four-year-old daughter named Beatrix.

Samantha regularly shares photos of her personal life, including a cute nursery for her daughter.

Before joining EastEnders in 2018 as Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter’s nemesis, Ricky was best known for his role as Paul Parker on the sitcom Him & Her.

He also appeared in Game of Thrones season six as Gatins.

In 2016 he made a cameo appearance in an episode of the ITV sitcom Plebs and starred in the film Paddington 2 as a prison guard.
