EastEnders’ Kelsey Calladine-Smith looks very different from character Jada in glamorous snaps from the soap

SHE joined EastEnders last year as Jada Lennox but in real life Kelsey Calladine-Smith doesn’t look like her character.

The 17-year-old is a far cry from being a single teenage mom and instead leads a very glamorous life.

While Jada is rarely spotted in anything other than a tracksuit, Kelsey loves to dress up and experiment with her hair.

When not filming in Walford, the actress is visiting London’s top restaurants with friends and enjoying exotic vacations.

She was soaking up the sun in Miami earlier this year – and she looked a far cry from Jada, who lives with Sharon.

Before joining EastEnders, Kelsey appeared as Indigo Moon in The Worst Witch and also as Young Nala in the musical Lion King.

Jada first appeared on the soap when she left her daughter Alyssa on Sharon’s doorstep and asked her to look after her.

It later emerged that Alyssa was the child of Sharon’s late son Denny.

When she found out Sharon (played by actress Letitia Dean) was ready to fight for sole custody of Alyssa, Jada didn’t think twice and ran off.

However, Zack (James Farrar) eventually finds her and brings her back to Sharon for a fresh start.

Jada secures a job at Denise Fox’s salon ready to make a living and find her independence.

Things seem to get rocky again, however, when Jada is thrown off course by her friends and 14-year-old Will Mitchell finally gets involved.

As Kelsey landed the appearance on the soap, she told her followers: “So happy to finally announce that I’ve joined the cast of @bbceastenders!! My first episode airs tonight at 8pm or catch up on @bbciplayer
