Eagles fight the trail in Steamboat Springs

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (KDVR) – You never know what you’ll see on a mountain trail, no matter what time of year.

On a sunny, chilly Sunday, two eagles battled it on the Core Trail along the Yampa River. The majestic birds finally ended their scramble but it didn’t mix a dog in the snow.
