The hairdresser is being called to her daughter Lexi’s school on BBC One next week after reports that an unidentified adult attacked the child’s schoolmate Maisie.

In earlier scenes, Maisie had teased Lexi about Lola’s ailing health.

The young mum is trying to put two and two together and thinks she may be to blame after documenting her health journey online.

Lola begins to worry that her newfound online fame may be to blame, growing concerned for her family and her own safety.

Overwhelmed by her emotions and weak from her grueling treatment, Lola is later examined by a doctor at home after concerns arise from Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and her husband Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick).

Lola’s world is turned upside down the same day when an uninvited guest shows up on her doorstep – her long-lost mother, Emma Harding.

She makes a shocking discovery about Emma, ​​but can she accept the truth?
