Dr Disrespect Announces 49ers NFL Draft Pick and the Internet Loves It

Streaming star Dr. Disrespect had the honor of announcing an NFL draft pick for his beloved San Francisco 49ers, and it’s safe to say the internet loved it too.

Just like many other well-known streamers, Dr. Disrespect has gone mainstream on many occasions. The former Twitch star has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, but it’s sporting events where he really thrives.

The two-time, who played basketball in college, has been a regular at the NBA Finals and NBA All-Star Weekend for the past several years, even having his music played at a few games.

Not limited to just basketball, however, he’s also involved in the NFL, with his hometown San Francisco 49ers asking him to make a pick during the 2022 draft in Las Vegas.

The Doc has made it a habit to perform at major sporting events.

Is correct, The doctor was one of the unique announcers for his team’s selection that year when he took to the stage in the third round and announced running back Tyrion Davis-Price’s selection.

Of course, the Two-Time added his own flair to the announcement, dropping his signature “Yayayaya” and repeating his own words, just like he does on stream.

While the broadcast crew and apparently some of the viewers were a little confused by his presence, there were many others who couldn’t believe that Dr. Disrespect made a selection in the draft.

Former NFL player Pat McAfee, who is a self-confessed “big fan” of the Two-Time, posted a simple tweet calling The Doc a “legend” for making a choice. Niners superstar tight end George Kittle took McAfee’s compliment up a notch, calling the streamer “king” for his involvement.

“DR. Disrespect Echoing yourself is the highlight of Day 2 for me.” called a fan. “I still can’t believe they got the two-time to announce an election,” added another.

While the later rounds of the draft aren’t followed by as many fans as the all-important first round, The Doc’s announcement made waves on social media, with clips of the moments garnering hundreds of thousands of views.

If Davis-Price emerges as a star for the Niners, they might have to bring the two-time back every year.
