Downtown Chalk Art Festival, Via Colori Houston, returns in early April

HOUSTON, Texas — A sketchy outdoor festival is making its big return to Houston in a lively downtown location. Via Colori Houston, the popular chalk arts festival, will be held on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd at the Post HTX, the downtown performance and dining venue.

Via Colori Houston is a free, family-friendly event that draws thousands of families, artists, vendors, volunteers and festival-goers to celebrate connection and creativity. Local artists – from well-known to emerging – will create stunning and vibrant works of art in real-time throughout the weekend.

In addition to eye-catching and vibrant chalk art, the free festival also features live music, on-site and take-away activities, digital photo booths, food trucks, yoga and tai chi mini-classes, and a fairy tale opera.
