Doublelift claims TSM “doesn’t care” about the quality of the LCS roster.

Twitch streamer and former LoL pro Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng reacted to the changes to TSM’s LCS roster and revealed why he thinks the organization “doesn’t care”.

Doublelift has never held back when it comes to publicly criticizing its former employer, TSM.

He has called the team “disgusting” and called out owner Reginald about his treatment of LCS squad players during his time there. The 28-year-old was associated with the organization for around five years both as a player and as a sponsored streamer.

Now, Doublelift has once again called on the team to manage their LCS roster.

Peng left TSM as a streamer in November 2021.

Doublelift claims the people at TSM “want out”.

On April 29, news broke that TSM to bring support LLA’s Choi ‘Mia’ Sang-in to replace Wei ‘Shenyi’ Zi-Jie in their starting lineup.

Doublelift claimed the move was positive for the team but said former TSM support Shenyi was “ripped off” by the transaction.

“But what’s new? TSM and their players kidding? It’s like fucking peanut butter and jelly.”

A viewer on his Twitch chat, using the cash injection from the FTX sponsorship, asked how they didn’t shoot for a top 2 finish. He replied, “Dude, you can see they’re going on budget, right? They went to LDL players in that last split. They don’t care anymore.”

He concluded, “TSM is making some very questionable decisions, and I think a lot of people want to get out of this organization.”

TSM missed the LCS playoffs for the first time in team history in spring 2022, a split that culminated in the firing of their head coach Peter Zhang over “serious allegations of conflict of interest.”

If Doublelift has reliable inside sources on how the summer off-season will pan out for the club, there might be plenty of big names on the way out.
