Dog House viewers are heartbroken after pooch was rejected by guest for ‘lack of chemistry’

The Wood Green charity’s dogs have either been lost, abandoned or abandoned by their previous owners.
Lorraine and her son Oliver met two-year-old Staffy crossbreed Cynthia after staff at the charity thought they would be a good match.
When one of the employees brought the dog out to them, Lorraine commented, “Somebody’s shy,” while Cynthia stayed close to the worker.
As the dog continued to stand by the door, Oliver said, “She’s always wandering around, isn’t she?”
“I’m afraid so,” Lorraine remarked, before admitting, “I’m not sure she cares that much about us, to be honest.”
Oliver replied, “Yeah, she’s not going to connect with us, is she?”
“Doesn’t feel like it,” Lorraine replied as the dog stood by the door, watching the couple.
Those who watched the show believed Lorraine didn’t give Cynthia a fair chance.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Mom expected an instant connection with Cynthia. Dogs need time to bond.”
Echoing her comments, someone else said, “The poor dog hasn’t even had time to bond.”
While a third agreed, adding: “Give her a chance — she’s only known you for like 30 seconds.”
Despite the rejection, the show’s ending revealed that Cynthia had found her forever home.
The Dog House continues on Thursday at 8pm on Channel 4.
