If Hillary Clinton wrote an article for The Onion, it might be a bit like State of Terror, the new political thriller that the former secretary of state and once ambitious POTUS co-wrote with mystery writer Louise Penny. Although this is purely a work of fiction, it is hard for people to believe that the main character in the book is not partial based on a former president whose name is similar to Shmonald Shrump. And, as HuffPost ReportClinton is very happy with the idea.

The book – again, fictional – tells the story of the controversial relationship between a newly elected president, Eric Dunn, and his one-time political rival, Ellen Adams. Their connection becomes even more problematic when, according to the official synopsis of the book: “What began when a series of apparent terrorist attacks were revealed was the beginning of an international game of chess involving the volatile and Byzantine politics of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran; the race to develop nuclear weapons in the region; the Russian crowd; a growing rogue terrorist organization; and an American government is back on the world stage. ”

The book, which immediately topped the New York Times Bestseller List, has received rave reviews since its release in October. And many readers are happy to find it. see small details that can easily be interpreted as a change in “hamburger”- loved the direction of the former president. Globe and Mail Journalist Elizabeth Renzetti was particularly amused when Dunn was described as “a moron whose breath reeks of meat.”

Clinton — one expert troller—Saw Renzetti commented and took the moment to tease her “fictional” villain further, while wittily noting that Dunn “could have been based on anyone….”
