Marvel has dropped a whole new look at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of the First Madness the Super Bowl 2022 on Sunday (February 13).
While fans are patiently waiting to see what surprises the sequel holds, new footage appears to introduce the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
While they are not displayed, the voice of Patrick StewartProfessor X is apparently heard in the trailer, telling Benedict Cumberbatch’s witch: “We should tell him the truth.”
Directed by Sam Raimi, the film will bring Cumberbatchfirst new Marvel movie character since Spider-Man: There’s No Way Home.
It will also mark the return of Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) for the first time since the Disney Plus series. WandaVision. Her character is closely associated with the X-Men, with WandaVision includes an X-Men version of her brother, Pietro, played by Evan Peters
While it’s currently unknown how Professor X might be brought into the MCU, it’s highly doubtful that it’s due to the Multiverse – a series of alternate worlds featuring Marvel characters, old and new. new.
“That certainly sounds a lot like Patrick Stewart, doesn’t it?” asked one fan, with another adding: “THIS IS PATRICK STEWART. THAT’S SPECIALIST X. I KNOW VOICE ANYWHERE. ”
Another fan added: “Not if I see Patrick Stewart at the theater. I will cry.”
Meanwhile, other fans discovered what they believe to be a hugely popular Hollywood star playing a variant version of Iron Man.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on May 6th.
