Diamondbacks vs. Cubs Prediction: Bet on Kyle Hendricks

The Diamondbacks are visiting the Cubs, and I haven’t been this excited since James Corden brought back Carpool Karaoke.

As expected, both teams are heading in the wrong direction. Prior to Thursday’s win, Arizona had lost seven straight games and the Cubbies were 6-12 at Wrigley.

Humberto Castellanos (2-1, 4:15) throws for the Snakes. He has appeared in eight games and made six starts, most recently at home where the Cubs scored twice over 5 ¹/₃ innings.

The Cubs’ Kyle Hendricks (2-3, 4.03) has only allowed one run over his last 14 ¹/₃, but like Castellanos, he gets little to no running support. We’ll cheer, cheer, cheer for the home team and take the Cubs for 10 sessions.
