Destiny 2 Season 18 Max Power Cap
The Season of Plunder introduced a new max Power cap of 1580, up from 1570 in Season of the Haunted. This cap marks the maximum power level you can achieve through your gear score. However, you can go even higher by leveling up your seasonal artifact. So it’s more of a “maximum” than a hard limit. To get here you need to go to Pinnacle Gear after reaching 1,570.
Season 18 Mighty Cap
The Powerful Cap has also been increased by 10 this season from 1,510 to 1,520. To get here you need to reach 1,520 and then opt for Powerful or Pinnacle Gear. This is the point where the grinding begins.
Season 18 soft cap
The soft cap was also increased by 10 from 1,510 to 1,520 in Season of Plunder. So you should be pretty much here by the time you finish The Witch Queen campaign. If not, just collect gear from everywhere until you hit the soft cap.
Destiny 2 Minimum Achievement Level Cap
One cap that hasn’t changed is the minimum power level for Destiny 2. This was last increased when The Witch Queen expansion was released, going from 1,330 to 1,350.
