Deputies search for a hit-and-run driver that killed a cyclist in N. Harris County

Authorities say that at around 3:15 a.m., Juan Rosales Villalobos was riding a bicycle in the 8800 block of Ella Avenue near the West Gulf Coast.

Villalobos was traveling north in the inner lane when a driver hit and drove away, authorities said.

After that collision, deputies said that a second vehicle hit the bicycle and also left the scene.

Villalobos died at the scene.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s Vehicle Crime Division is investigating. Deputies are also looking for video surveillance to try to track down the drivers.
