Depp testifies that Heard severed a finger with a vodka bottle

Johnny Depp dramatically returned to the witness stand in his libel trial of Amber Heard on Wednesday, insisting he never molested his ex-wife – but admitting he texted her ‘total global humiliation “ promised.

The August 2016 text, sent to Depp’s former talent agent Christian Carino, also contains a slew of insults — including calling Heard a “hanging, overused fish marketer” and a “50 Cent stripper.”

“I can only hope that karma kicks in and takes away the gift of breath from her,” the lyrics continued, apparently referring to Heard.

“Sorry man . . . But NOW I’ll stop at nothing!!! Let’s see if Mollusk has a pair,” Depp added in an apparent nod to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was dating Heard at the time was.

Depp explained the message was written as his life was being turned upside down by Heard’s abuse allegations.

The actress is suing Heard for $50 million over her 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post in which she described herself as “a public figure who depicts domestic violence.” He was not named in the essay but claims he was defamed.

Heard sued her for $100 million, alleging that Depp and his attorney defamed her by launching a smear campaign accusing her of fabricating abuse allegations.

In his testimony, Depp took aim at the claim and again told the jury that he was the victim of domestic abuse in the relationship, not heard.

“Miss Heard hit me,” he said after being asked how he got a bruise under his left eye on the Orient Express train during the couple’s honeymoon in July 2015. “I had a kind of glow.”

When asked if he took eight to 10 MDMA pills during the fight in Australia, which ended with a cut fingertip, Heard said: “No, I didn’t . . . because I would be dead.”

Depp also hit back at Heard’s claim that she got her lead on Aquaman on her own, saying he spoke to “three senior” Warner Bros. executives to seal the deal.

“All I can say is that she ended up getting the job in the film. . . so I assumed I contained their worries to some extent,” Depp said.
