New data from Global Talent Solutions firm Robert Half shows hiring is on the rise in Mile High City.
Robert Half just released the US State Employment Report which reveals companies’ hiring plans for the first half of 2022 and it certainly offers some good news for remote job seekers in Denver. .
According to a survey that asked hundreds of hiring managers in Denver, 70% of Denver employers plan to add new permanent positions to their team in the next six months.
Newly published research shows that contract workers are especially in high demand.
About 86% of managers in Denver say they will hire more contract professionals in the first half of 2022.
“These are great jobs! Senior accountants, database administrators, attorneys, customer service representatives, marketing communications specialists in a variety of industries – it’s hard to find candidates and business here is booming. explode! ” Eric Olson explained to Robert Half.
New data shows that 49% of employers in Denver say they will offer more remote working options in an effort to attract new employees.
“What we are seeing with a lot of companies is that even remote selection is bringing talent to Denver clients that was never an option before. So working from home added to the competitive reach of the local candidate database,” added Olson.
New perks and benefits offered by Denver employers in the first half of 2022:
- 55% are increasing starting salary
- 50% are offering telemetry options and evaluating candidates outside of their office geos
- 44% are offering signing bonuses
- 41% are taking more time off from their paid job
- 31% are easing education, skills or experience requirements
