Debra Messing is reportedly telling the White House there’s no point in voting after Roe v Wade was vacated

This was reported in a recent call to the White House Will & Grace Star Debra Messing said that although she claimed to have voted for Joe Biden, she now feels there is no point in voting at all.

In the wake of the US Supreme Court’s decision to overthrow Deer vs Wade, According to a CNN report, the White House has arranged a virtual meeting between the president’s aides and dozens of prominent supporters based on conversations with three people who took part in the call.

The mood of the call was “fatalistic,” according to CNN, and some participants in the call openly questioned why this happened in the first place. It is claimed that brass was particularly vocal.

During the 2020 election cycle, the actor campaigned for Joe Biden in Pennsylvania. She co-hosted a pre-inauguration concert for the new US President with actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key in January 2021. Messing was previously a well-known supporter of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid, even speaking at her nominating convention.

It’s therefore surprising that the actress was singled out for how disappointed she appeared to be with the current government. Brass is said to have “screamed” during the June 27 phone call in which participants last month discussed the end of constitutional protections for abortion in America.

It is claimed that after the call, participants were emailed “a list of basic talking points and suggested Biden speaking clips to share” on social media.

Messing, who is productive on Twitter, has given extensive coverage over the past week to various fundraisers and protests taking place in support of continued abortion access in the United States. Although she re-tweeted a post from President Biden’s account related to Covid, she failed to post about Biden’s June 24 comments on the abortion decision. “It’s not over yet,” Biden said in that speech.
