Death of Ray Liotta: Lorraine Bracco, Jamie Lee Curtis and Seth Rogen pay tribute to the Goodfellas star

Tributes poured in for Ray Liotta after it was reported that the actor passed away suddenly on Thursday (May 26). He was 67.
Liotta, best known for starring in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 classic crime thrillerGoodfellasHe died in his sleep while filming a new movie in the Dominican Republic.
Liotta’s publicist confirmed the news in a statement, which read, “There was nothing suspicious about the death and no foul play is suspected.”
Seth Rogen expressed his disbelief at Liotta’s death, recalling the actor as a “lovable, talented and hilarious person.”
“Working with him has been one of the greatest joys of my career and we shot some of my favorite scenes I’ve ever had the privilege of acting in. A true legend of immense skill and grace,” said Rogen, who was cast in the 2009 black comedy opposite Liotta Observe and reporttweeted.

Jeffrey Wright tweeted about the time he was able to meet Liotta “for the first time last year.”

“He was dangerous, unpredictable, hilarious and generous with his praise for other actors. Too soon,” he added.
Lorraine Bracco said she was “deeply shaken” by the news of her Goodfellas Death of co-star – “my Ray”. Bracco played Faith Hill, wife of mafia operative Henry Hill (Liotta), in the Scorcese classic.
She wrote: “I can be anywhere in the world and people will come up to me and tell me their favorite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best thing about making that film. My answer was always the same… Ray Liotta.”
Piers Morgan responded to the “sad news” on Twitter, writing: “Brilliant actor, loved him Goodfellas.”
The Prince’s Bride Star Cary Elwes remembered Liotta as “an extraordinary talent whose remarkable performances left an indelible mark on the screen” and offered his “deepest condolences” to Liotta’s family.
The actor is survived by his daughter Karsen. Before his death, he was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.
