Death of John Aniston: Jennifer Aniston announces the death of her father at the age of 89

Jennifer Aniston has announced the death of her father, actor John Aniston, at the age of 89.

That friends Stern paid tribute to the days of our lives actor took to Instagram and shared a series of photos of the couple together.

She wrote in the caption: “Sweet papa…⁣ John Anthony Aniston⁣

“You were one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever known. I am so thankful that you ascended to heaven in peace – and without pain. And on 11.11. not less! You always had perfect timing.

“This number will forever have an even greater meaning for me, now I will love you until the end of time. Don’t forget to visit.”

John was best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives, in which he starred for more than three decades beginning in 1985.

In June, he received a Daytime Emmy Award for lifetime achievement. After an introduction by John’s days of our lives Jennifer appeared handy to co-star Suzanne Rogers, who plays Maggie Kiriakis, to praise her father’s accomplishments.

“This is really a special moment for me,” she said. “It’s an opportunity not only to pay tribute to a true icon in the world of daytime television, but also to recognize the lifetime achievements of a great and respected actor who also happens to be my father.”

Since the beginning of his career in 1962, John has also had roles in Quest for Tomorrow, Star Trek: Voyager, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls and Mad Men.

In 1965, John married American actress Nancy Dow, with whom he had two children: Jennifer and Alex.

John and Nancy divorced in 1980 and he married actress Sherry Rooney.
