Death metal band performs PSA before show and urges fans to take a shower

Many touring artists had to put up with poor concert etiquette from fans, were harassed with cell phones, and were lewd sex toya giant wheel of cheese and even the ashes of a fan’s mother at live performances.

But one band decided to take matters into their own hands and kick off their show with a public announcement — letting their fans know that proper etiquette is indeed beginning Before the concert even begins.

And that includes showering.

Dethklok – a death metal band created as a fictional band from the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse – showed the audience a video urging people to take care of their personal hygiene at concerts.

A clip of the video was posted on TikTok and has received 3.2 million views and 563,7000 likes.

“Send this to your smelly friends”, user @rawrxdkev wrote in the video description.

The video features the Adult Swim character facial bones twirling around and giving a melodramatic speech about how to behave properly at their shows.

“Etiquette is a French word that means, ‘How not to act like a stupid idiot!'” The horrible face screamed at the crowd.

Facebones started concert hygiene, asking fans if they’d ever go to a show and be standing next to a person who “smells like BO and old shoes and stuff” — and if they don’t know what he’s talking about, then this person ” Maybe you are.”

“At some point in your life, take a shower and THEN come to the show,” the animated logo exclaimed.

A Study 2021 found that listening to metal music increases BO by 87% – and fans are glad the problem is finally being addressed.

“It’s crazy it came to this, but at least they did it in the best possible way,” one person commented on the video.

“EVERY ARTIST HAS TO DO THIS AT EVERY CONCERT,” said another.

“This is BRILLIANT,” someone wrote.

“The show is too late, this needs to be played during the Ticketmaster queues,” one suggested.

Others said videos like this should be played in any place where large numbers of people gather at the same time, such as conventions, Disneyland, and even the workplace.
