Last Thursday, Bonola was charged with murder, criminal manipulation and criminal possession of a gun for allegedly stabbing Gaal nearly 60 times in her home while her youngest son was upstairs.
HISTORY OF “SCREAKY” BEHAVIOR
Bonola seems to have it a creepy pattern of behavior allegedly visited a Starbucks in Forest Hills and left love letters for the baristas.
Former barista Oliwia Pikulinski told that New York Post: “He was creepy, he was stalking people. Everyone knew he was a strange person.”
Pikulinski claimed Bonola would “drop love letters and songs he would make about us into the drinking glass.”
“He even went as far as proposing to two of us, which is very disturbing because the interactions were so strange,” she added.
The man would visit the café several times a week and order the same items — a dark roast pot and a lemon or banana bread, according to Pikulinski.
During his time there, Bonola reportedly proposed to the female staff and gave them notes and trinkets.
Pikulinski claimed the man would ask the workers “personal questions” such as their birthday, age and where they live.
“It was personal information that a customer should never ask for,” she said.
“I’m speechless that it was him after all the scary incidents that happened and how disturbing he made everyone especially the women I worked with and even the clients in the lobby. It’s crazy to think about.”
The baristas often called the police, but by the time they got there, Bonola was gone.
An NYPD spokesman told the Post that they have complaints of harassment, but nothing that matches the ex-worker’s claims.
