David and Victoria wanted the outdoor decor – once a sign of social deprivation – to keep garden party guests from walking all the way to their mansion.

The wooden outhouse sits next to the ornamental lake and kitchen in the grounds of their £6million farmhouse in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

A pal said: “David and Victoria love throwing parties near their lake but it got tiring traipsing back and forth to the house to go to the toilet once the drinks were flowing.

“David asked the architect to design the wooden toilet block behind the wild kitchen.

“When it comes to the toilet break, it’s a nice place to spend a few moments in the fresh air with birdsong.”

It is seen with its own septic tank and is not thought to be connected to the main sewer.

The former England captain, 47, and Spice Girl, now a fashion designer, 48, bought the country estate in 2017.

But it has been claimed the couple – parents of Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 17, and Harper, 11 – are looking for another home because of traffic noise from the Soho Farmhouse, where the stars hang out.

A source told The Sun: “They think it’s time to find another property to spend their weekends at.”
