Herbert vs. Topuria – Round one

After a whiff of gloves, they’re off. Herbert stays out late and pumps out the jab.

Herbert drops Topuria with a huge headkick, but the Georgian somehow managed to survive.

Topuria, perhaps on instinct, shoots a power double and pinches Herbert against the cage.

Herbert is doing incredibly well to fend off the takedown attempt.

But Topuria creates a separation from the cage, lifts Herbert in the air and slams him to the ground.

Herbert does well to fend off Topuria’s attempted transitions – who is bleeding from his head.

They get back on their feet, much to the delight of the crowd. Herbert lands several good straight rights before the end of the round.
