Date and time of the Splatoon 3 Big Run event announced

before turn 3‘s Chill Season 2022 – which is ending soon – the newest game mode, Big Run, has been confirmed for mid-December. Big Run evolves into a twist on the original Salmon Run co-op format, in which players battle waves of Salmonid enemies and complete missions together. Here’s when the Splatoon 3 Big Run event’s scheduled date and time.

What is the date and time of the Splatoon 3 Big Run event?

The first event of the Big Run opening weekend begins on December 9 (12/9) at 4:00 PM PT and lasts through December 12 at 4:00 PM PT.

This first mid-December event will take place on the Wahoo world map, where the Salmonids will take over the players’ home stadium of Splatsville.

Not much has been revealed about the exact nature of this co-op mode, other than that it’s an evolution of the wave-based Salmon Run mode from previous Splatoon titles.

Promotional material shared by Nintendo appears to show a Squid Kid holding a golden salmonid trophy, likely meaning these could take the place of the golden eggs normally required to complete the mode’s challenges.

In other news, some Fortnite leaks have surfaced online revealing information about the live event Fracture. Elsewhere, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players claim that the battle’s RNG may be rigged.
