Daryl Hannah’s bare bottom does “Splash,” which is no longer censored on Disney+

Daryl Hannah’s back is back!
Comic Book Resources reports that Disney+ restored Daryl Hannah’s bare rear end in the 1984 rom-com Splash after the streamer used CGI to cover her partially exposed bottom with artificial hair.
The original version was restored as part of a 4K upgrade from “Splash” – but now it’s behind Disney+’s parental controls feature, according to the outlet.
In the fairly tame scene, a naked Hannah kisses Tom Hanks before jumping into the sea. Her long, blond hair covers most of her kester. Disney+ added more hair to his cut.
Fans of the Human Meets Mermaid movie gushed the news on Twitter on Tuesday.
“The world is finally healing” wrote one user.

“Now I can rest” wrote another.
“It’s just nice to win one” a third posted.
The Post reached out to a Hannah representative for comment.
According to BoxOfficeMojo, “Splash” made a big splash at the box office and earned $69.8 million worldwide. Comic Book Resources reports that the film is coming to Disney+ in 2020.
The streamer has come under fire for its censorship, editing everything from a line in Aladdin to Jessica Rabbit’s clothes in Who Framed Roger Rabbit to f-bombs in the filmed version of the musical Hamilton.
