Dancing On Ice fans are furious to see a contestant receive a benefit for the second week in a row

DANCING On Ice viewers have once again complained that Brendan Cole seems to have the edge again.

Viewers groaned after watching the former Strictly Come Dancing star open the show with his partner Vanessa Bauer for the second straight week.

“Brendan dancing first again? Give me a break,” tweeted one angry fan.

Many fumed on Twitter after fans last week claimed the ballroom dancer had been given a perk on the ITV series by being the first celebrity to hit the ice each week.

Brendan made it to the finals after receiving a perfect score from the Dancing On Ice judges for the second week in a row.

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro earned 40 points for his skate to Let’s Face The Music And Dance from the movie Follow The Fleet after ending his routine with a successful headbanger move.

The celebrity contestants performed routines to songs they personally owned and also tried their hand at a solo skate.

Brendan will face off against former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne in next week’s finals.

This week he opened up about “things getting personal” amid reports of mounting tensions backstage.

The 45-year-old dancer wrote on social media, “An exciting weekend ahead…a double elimination and things are getting personal!”

He reposted a video from Dancing On Ice which read: “It’s the semifinals and our couples skate to some very personal songs, engage in a spooky solo skate and face a double elimination 😱 #DancingOnIce.”

The former Strictly pro, who works with pro skater Vanessa Bauer, is one of the favorites to win this year’s competition.

Brendan studied pasodoble, ballroom and ballet when he was younger before entering professional dance competitions for his native New Zealand.

He won his first-ever series of Strictly Come Dancing with Natasha Kaplinsky and appeared in 15 series before his contract ended in 2018.

Earlier this week, a source claimed that the stars had all “trained like crazy” to be crowned the 2022 champions.

“They all want to win it and the level is so high. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife, you can really feel the tension.

“They’re all training like crazy. Nobody wants to be second, everyone wants to win.”

Fans argued that this gives them an advantage because they have to skate first two
