CURTIS Delamere lies to get access to Oliver funds from Steve McDonald next week in Coronation Street.
The student – played by Sam Retford in the ITV series – was keen to raise some money for Steve and Leanne Battersby’s son by doing the Triple Peak Challenge.
Oliver sadly passed away in November 2020 after battling a life-limiting form of mitochondrial disease.
Curtis, who is engaged to Emma, Steve’s daughter, agrees to take on the challenge so he can put money into the fund.
However, Emma is worried because Curtis has a heart condition, and it could put him in danger.
Then the waiter asked if he wanted her to do it to him, and he politely declined.
Meanwhile, Emma’s half-sister, Amy Barlow, reveals to mom Karen and dad Steve that she wants to go to college and study business.
Tracy is frantic with his promises to Emma and tells the Street Cars co-owner that he has to make Emma downsize her wedding.
Amy overheard them all talking about the future and decided that she wanted to stay close to home for her studies to make it easier for everyone.
While all this was going on, Curtis started the fundraising event.
The organizer met with a charity worker and it became very clear that Curtis would not be participating in the Triple Peak Challenge.
Is there any reason why he’s so adamant that he wants to do it alone?
What is Curtis going to do?
Fans of the hit show have grown suspicious of Curtis in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, they believed that he lied about his illness after a string of “very suspicious” clues.
He usually tries not to reveal too much information about his life-threatening condition.
Medical student Th also recently fainted and downplayed the severity of the situation.
