The first trailer of Zach Braff’s new movie, a good personwith Florence Pugh, is here.
Pugh, who was in a relationship with Braff for nearly three years until their split earlier this year, stars in the film as Allison, a once-blooming woman caught up in a tragedy that has left her fiancé’s sister dead comes.
Grief reunites Allison with Daniel (Morgan Freeman), her would-be father-in-law, with Daniel struggling to raise a teenager and Allison searching for forgiveness and redemption.
Pugh shared the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “Here she is. First trailer too a good person is FINALLY HERE.
“This is the first time I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of seeing the art come into being from start to finish.
“I’m so proud of this creation, I’m so grateful to everyone who jumped on this crazy journey with us. Look… have fun.”
Actor Maisie Williams who starred in the 2014 film with Pugh The fallingShe was one of the first to comment on the trailer, writing on Pugh’s Instagram, “Oh god I’m already crying… congratulations my love.”
Molly Shannon, who plays Pugh’s mother in the film, commented: “Florence, you command a set like no one I know. I loved working with you! I can’t believe I get to play your mother in this film. Lucky me! And you are SO FUNNY!!”
Braff, who wrote and directed the film, also posted the trailer to Twitter: “This looks amazing,” replied one fan.
“My wife and I cried and laughed when we saw this trailer. Already making an appointment to see this in theaters,” added another.
“Looks amazing, can’t wait to see it! Too early to pre-order the soundtrack?” wrote a third.
a good person will be released in UK cinemas in March 2023, ahead of a Sky Cinema release in April 2023.
